Cambridge Cottage is a 300 year old Cottage, steeped in local history when Falsgrave was a village and not part of Scarborough which it is now. It is a beautiful homely cottage with most of its original features. It is warm, cosy and welcoming. In fact just near is a very popular large family pub and eatery. 10 mins walk from train station and bus station. Located not far from both North and South Bay with all their attractions including the open air theatre and the beautiful Peasholm Park.

The space

There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin room making it perfect for a family holiday or you can put the singles together if required. There is also a put-me-up bed in the twin room. The bathroom is beautiful, clean and neat. Downstairs the living room is warm and inviting; including dining area, desk and seated area with cosy, original fire place. This fireplace was actually the black smith’s forge when the house was stables in its past life. The well appointed galley kitchen has a gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and dutch dryer. There are steps leading up to a beautiful garden with outdoor seating, barbecue, and fully insulated summer house with toilet, sink, second fridge, sauna and double sofa bed enabling the cottage to sleep up to 6 people if using the sofa bed. The cottage has been described to be so homely that there have even been some marriage proposals, and they all said yes 🙂
